Hair should be at least ¼ inch (about 2 weeks of growth after shaving) for the wax to grip effectively. If you're unsure, let it grow for 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
There is a brief snap of discomfort as the wax is removed, but our technicians work quickly and use a high-quality wax that grips hair — not skin — to minimize discomfort. Most clients find it very manageable.
Avoid sun exposure 24 hours before. Don't apply lotions or oils to the area on the day of your appointment. Exfoliating 24 hours prior helps achieve better results and reduces the risk of ingrown hairs.
